We had two record winters in a row with over 40 inches of snow in each. This winter has been close to dry - bad for the winter wheat but good for my long drive.

I've never been much for umbrellas except if I am wearing business clothes. I've never used an umbrella in the snow, maybe because I refuse to buy a coat without a hood. I've heard of "rain" and even occasionally have experienced it, but there's never enough water falling out of the sky in any form here to warrant owning an umbrella. :DTedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16774432656602082311noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6021475418975786274.post-23292378190934274652012-02-02T15:58:58.708+01:002012-02-02T15:58:58.708+01:00I have used an umbrella in snow, but not often. Of course that doesn't account for extremes, but it covers this.
Nice pics, as always.notagainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02915679111849352765noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6021475418975786274.post-65940795829042420682012-02-02T14:18:50.200+01:002012-02-02T14:18:50.200+01:00I don't use an umbrella for snow, even the wet...I don't use an umbrella for snow, even the wet stuff.

I do own an umbrella and keep it in my car, but I only take it out if the rain is pouring down and just for the walk between the parking lot and work. Here in the States it all depends on where you live for umbrella use, I think, as I have seen women especially using them in sun, rain, and snow. Not too many use them for anything but rain, but sometimes for sun and snow. And snow falling on you is an experience we don't have very often. Same reason you don't see many folk in these parts with a parasol in the summer. We have to grab the experience for as long as it lasts.Rob Bowkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12065940710708289511noreply@blogger.com
